Jason Anderson
Creator of Flow Player
I am a professional yoga instructor based in Bulgaria, teaching the art of yoga since 2008. My journey into yoga began through the portal of sports: I played Division I basketball at the University of Florida before continuing professionally in Europe and South America. After retiring from the game in 2006, I devoted myself fully to the practice and teaching of yoga, pursuing it with consistency, passion, and respect for its transformational power.
Fusing the principles of basketball and yoga, I now coach amateur and professional athletes to refine their performance from a yogic perspective. This approach develops not only their physical skill sets, but also their awareness, balance, and wholeness — helping them realize their fullest potential. In addition, I serve as a Player Development Coach and Consultant with Lokomotiv Gorna’s youth teams, while creating Flow Player online programs and traveling across Europe to lead workshops and masterclasses.
My experience includes thousands of hours leading public and private classes, teacher trainings, retreats, and festivals, as well as 300 hours of advanced training with world-renowned teacher Shiva Rea. I have also produced video content with Udaya.com, most notably the GameDay Series for sport and life athletes.
I know that yoga is a meditation journey — witnessed by the Player within you, or Pure Awareness — and guided by an intimate connection and surrender to the flow of your Game. I teach conceptual practices that combine power and finesse to create balance, urging you to release personal illusions so that, with clarity, you can see, feel, and realize your greatness.
Keep Flowin’ and Peace,
Jason
