FLOW PLAYER

OUR MISSION

At Flow Player Private Basketball Academy, our mission is to elevate youth basketball in the Veliko Tarnovo region. We focus on a clear, development- first model that builds strong fundamentals and prepares players for the next stage of their journey- competitive club basketball.

We empower youth athletes with skills, confidence, discipline, respect, and basketball IQ to succeed both now and in the future. Our goal is to create a supportive environment that inspires personal growth, high-level play, and a lifelong love for the game.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

01. Player Development

We focus on the essential skills:
ball handling | scoring | passing | defense | footwork | agility | decision-making

Players learn to read the game, adapt, and solve problems in real time.
Our goal: players who can thrive on any team, with any coach, in any club.

02. Character & Core Values

We develop the whole athlete- on and off the court.

We emphasize:
confidence | responsibility | communication | respect | discipline | focus | poise | teamwork | trust

Players learn accountability, how to work together, and how to support one another.

These values create a strong, unified team culture built on respect and shared purpose.

03. Community Driven

Flow Player Academy brings together players, families, neighborhoods, towns, and villages across the region to strengthen the foundation of Bulgarian basketball.

We build a connected, inclusive environment, where passion for the game thrives- and where young athletes are inspired to reach their full potential.

04. Style of Play

We teach free- flowing basketball that builds:

  • Courage

  • Confidence

  • Creativity

  • Smart decision-making

Players learn to play with freedom while contributing their strengths as they transition into club competition.

05. Additional Value

We promote:
healthy habits | leadership | personal growth | mindfulness | compassion

Our goal is to develop well-rounded athletes and young people.

ABOUT JASON ANDERSON

Founder & Master Instructor – Flow Player Academy

Jason Anderson created Flow Player Academy to bridge two worlds he has lived fully: elite basketball and the performance-focused mind–body training that elevated his career long after his playing days.

His journey began on the court, where he became the #88 ranked high school senior in America, earned a spot as a McDonald’s All-American practice player, and received a full scholarship to the University of Florida. As a Division I athlete, he competed in the NCAA Final Four, multiple NCAA Tournaments, and earned CBS Chevrolet Player of the Game honors before playing professionally across the globe- in Portugal, Switzerland, Brazil, Uruguay, Australia, and with the Atlanta Hawks Summer League in the United States.

After retiring from professional basketball, Jason expanded his expertise into the world of mobility, recovery, and mental performance. Over the last 15+ years, he has become an internationally respected yoga and movement teacher, trained directly under Shiva Rea, teaching at global retreats and appearing in Yoga Journal. His specialized work with athletes includes the NBA Atlanta Hawks, Wheeler High School (Jaylen Brown), and elite professionals such as Joe Johnson, Jordan Hill, Julio Jones, Keith Brooking, and more.

His mind–body background is not spiritual—it is performance-driven, designed to improve durability, focus, movement quality, and long-term health.

Jason also served as a Physical Education Instructor at ARCUS American College, where he rebuilt the PE department with a development-focused, well-rounded curriculum emphasizing fitness, accountability, positive habits, and personal discipline for young athletes.

Today, Jason leads Flow Player Academy, a basketball performance and player development system designed to help athletes unlock their highest potential. The Academy integrates fundamental skill development with the key performance components modern players need:

  • Mobility & injury-prevention training

  • Breathwork for focus and recovery

  • On-court intelligence & decision-making

  • Strength, durability & movement quality

  • Mental performance rituals for confidence and composure

Jason also serves as a Player Development Coach & Consultant for BK Lokomotiv Gorna Oryahovitsa, working with the 16U, 15U, and 14U youth teams, including the 14U squad that competed in the 2024–25 EYBL and reached the Elite 8 Playoffs.

Flow Player Academy reflects Jason’s mission:

To develop smarter, stronger, more skilled, and more confident basketball players — on and off the court.
